Insurance Customer Service Representative (Experienced Property and Casualty Insurance)

Candidate will help us launch our new Progressive Auto offering to our warm market of existing customers who entrust our Agency with their Health and Life Insurance needs.

Candidate should be familiar with Progressive’s For Agents Only website, along with other comparative raters and general working knowledge how to assist and quote prospective auto insurance customers.

About Us:

Marketplace Insurance Advisors is an established independent agency in Auburn Hills serving Michigan families with ACA Health, Medicare, and Life Insurance. We were recently appointed with Progressive and are building our personal auto line division, and you’ll help shape it from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Quote and bind Progressive auto policies in For Agents Only (FAO)
• Process policy changes: adding and removing drivers and vehicles, coverage updates, address and lienholder changes
• Resolve billing questions, payment issues, and ID card requests
• Assist clients with claims reporting and follow-up
• Handle calls, emails, and walk-ins promptly and professionally
• Spot cross-sell opportunities with our health, life and medicare clientele

What You Bring:

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty producer license (preferred; previous industry experience in a P&C agency may suffice)
• Hands-on experience with Progressive’s For Agents Only system
• 1+ year of P&C experience in an agency or carrier service role
• Working knowledge of Michigan No-Fault and PIP choice options

Winning Skillset:

• Clear communicator, organized, and detail oriented
• Able to work on-site in Auburn Hills
• Nice to have: Experience with other personal lines carriers or comparative raters, Property & Casualty, Life & Health license.

What We Offer:

• $20–$30 per hour based on experience
