Assistant Graphic Designer

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Assistant Graphic Designer with a passion for luxury print design, custom typography, and the wedding industry. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Designers and Creative Director to bring high-end wedding invitation suites, day-of stationery (menus, place cards, signage), and bespoke event branding to life.

The ideal candidate possesses strong typography skills, a keen eye for color and layout composition, and an understanding of traditional print processes like foil stamping, letterpress, and embossing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Layout Assistance: Assist in conceptualizing, designing, and formatting wedding invitation suites, save-the-dates, RSVP cards, details cards, and event day-of collateral (monograms, menus, seating charts, signage).
• Typesetting & Typography: Execute precise typography, calligraphy digitizing, and layout adjustments based on client preferences and creative direction.
• Proofing & Revisions: Apply client revisions accurately and double-check text, spelling, color schemes, and formatting across multi-piece stationery suites.
• Print Production Preparation: Prepare press-ready artwork files (setting die lines, bleeds, vector paths, pantone matching) for specialty print processes like foil stamping, letterpress, thermography, and digital printing.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent design portfolio).
• Required Software Proficiency:
• Adobe Illustrator: Expert level in vector artwork creation, typography, logo/monogram design, and print prepress setup.
• Procreate: Skilled in digital drawing, custom lettering, hand-painted floral/venue illustrations, and textured artwork creation.
• Adobe After Effects: Proficient in motion graphics, text animation, and creating digital invitation videos/motion graphics for social media and electronic invites.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.
• Design Fundamentals: Strong foundation in typography, composition, color theory, spatial hierarchy, and motion principles.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail regarding spelling, alignment, margins, color accuracy, and animation pacing.
• Print Knowledge: Basic to intermediate understanding of paper stocks, finishes, and specialty print production techniques (foil, letterpress, die-cutting).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
