Software Engineer in Test

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who is passionate about delivering quality, reliability, and exceptional customer experiences across complex trading and financial systems. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, product, security, and business teams to drive testing strategy, automation, and quality across infrastructure and platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies for platform, infrastructure, and release initiatives
• Create and maintain test plans covering functional, integration, compliance, and customer-facing use cases
• Drive test automation across UI, API, and system-level testing using modern automation frameworks
• Collaborate with engineering teams early in the SDLC to identify risks, requirement gaps, and potential failure points
• Support defect analysis, root cause investigation, and continuous quality improvement efforts
• Leverage AI-driven testing approaches and contribute to improving automation frameworks and quality processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent software engineering experience)
• 5-10 years of software quality engineering or testing experience
• Experience testing financial services, fintech, trading platforms, or other highly regulated systems
• Strong experience leading quality initiatives for web-based applications
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
• Playwright
• Cypress
• Selenium
• K6
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
