About the Role

MGRStaffing is seeking skilled Software Engineers to participate in an exciting AI training project with micro1.

In this role, you will use your software engineering expertise to help train and improve next-generation AI systems. You will create realistic and challenging programming tasks for AI models, evaluate solutions, implement features, identify and fix bugs, and develop reliable automated verifiers.

No previous AI experience is required. Your software engineering knowledge, problem-solving ability, and technical judgment are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

• Create realistic coding problems involving feature implementation and bug fixing.
• Develop deterministic verifiers that correctly evaluate AI-generated solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues.
• Implement and review software features.
• Refactor existing codebases to improve quality and maintainability.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Design and maintain automated tests.
• Evaluate code quality, correctness, reliability, and performance.
• Apply strong algorithms and data-structure knowledge to technical problems.
• Provide clear technical reasoning and documentation where required.

Work Schedule

This is a flexible remote contractor opportunity requiring approximately 15 hours per week.

You can choose your own working hours and days, including weekends if preferred.

Compensation

Compensation is output-based. Experts are paid for tasks that meet the project’s specifications and quality requirements.

The time required to complete each task may vary depending on your experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply, and experts are expected to complete a minimum number of tasks each week.
