Senior AI Security Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will shape how the organization secures AI-enabled systems, software, and firmware against emerging threats. You will lead security assessments, pressure-test defensive workflows, and help translate findings into practical remediation across application security. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to define strategy and strengthen security practices in a fast-moving technology environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $157,675 – $238,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Deliver security assessments of software and firmware against AI-driven attacks.
• Translate AI security findings into specific fixes for application security.
• Build and pressure-test AI-enabled security tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams as the AI security expert.
• Define and drive the AI security strategy for the organization.
• Utilize frontier AI tools for red-teaming and defensive measures.
• Promote and embody the company’s cultural principles across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in application security, vulnerability management, or related fields with proven impact.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools in security workflows, not just as an end user.
• Experience in technical security assessments across software and hardware environments.
• Proficient in secure coding practices using languages like GoLang.
• Familiarity with AI and agentic solutions, particularly in AWS and GitHub.
