Position: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid/Remote)

Experience: 8 to 12 years

We are seeking a skilled Developer Platform/Product with a strong background in ServiceNow GRC IRM to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on platform and product development. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our ServiceNow platform, ensuring compliance and risk management processes are effectively integrated and optimized.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specifically focusing on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities.
• Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations for future reference.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow GRC IRM, including implementation and customization.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with database management and SQL.
• Certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on ServiceNow platform.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
