Snowflake Data Engineer / BI Developer
Location: Remote
Role Overview
Westlake is seeking a Nearshore Snowflake Data Engineer with Power BI experience to support the development of a Marketing Data Management solution. This role will primarily focus on Snowflake development, data integration, SQL development, and support for business reporting initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Snowflake and SQL, with working experience in Power BI.
Location
Fully Remote (Nearshore)
Contract Duration
• Initial 6-month contract
• Potential extension of up to 3 additional months based on project needs
Required Experience
• 7+ years of Data Engineering and Analytics experience
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience
• Strong SQL development skills
• Experience building enterprise data pipelines
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Snowflake data pipelines
• Ingest marketing, sales, and business data from multiple platforms
• Build and optimize SQL transformations
• Create and maintain data models within Snowflake
• Support Power BI dashboard development
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring
• Collaborate with Data Architects and business stakeholders
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Snowflake workloads
• Document technical solutions and data flows
