What’s this Job All About?

As an Office Assistant you will be the face or voice representing the Department of Health and Human Services as the first person the community members interact with in person and by phone. You will greet and assist customers in person and by phone; fielding customer inquiries, addressing complaints and gathering information to direct customers to the appropriate staff to address their request. You will perform structured and repetitive tasks such as filing, reviewing forms, electronic files, entering data and perform other specialized work as assigned.
