Senior Full Stack Developer (ID#5551)

New Value Solutions (NVS) is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the development and maintenance of large-scale, cloud-based web applications. This is a hands-on development position focused on Amazon Web Services (AWS), C#/.NET, JavaScript frameworks, serverless architecture, microservices, NoSQL databases, and modern front-end development.

The Senior Full Stack Developer will work within an established Agile development team supporting an enterprise digital content platform and related applications. The successful candidate will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, cloud-native application development, application maintenance, integration, testing, technical design, and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise web applications in an Agile software development environment.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Develop cloud-native serverless applications using microservices architecture.
• Develop back-end application components using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
• Develop front-end applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, React, HTML, SCSS, and Material Design.
• Develop and maintain applications using NoSQL databases, including AWS DynamoDB.
• Implement state management using technologies such as NGXS, NGRX, and Redux.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and application integrations.
• Support legacy applications using C#, .NET, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
• Develop scalable, responsive, and efficient web applications.
• Utilize CI/CD tools and practices to support automated application builds, testing, and deployment.
• Translate business and technical requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Write effective unit tests and automated tests to support application quality.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, performance, and technical issues.
• Provide architectural direction and technical guidance as required.
• Provide technical project leadership as required.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support the development and maintenance of large-scale web-based content management and digital content platforms.
• Support the appropriate use of artificial intelligence technologies within software development initiatives.

Requirements:

• University degree or two-year diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years of software development experience; OR a one-year certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline and a minimum of 7 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience using C# and/or Java.
• 3+ years of software development experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• 3+ years of experience developing, building, testing, and deploying applications using Angular 2+ and/or React.
• Strong experience developing cloud-native and serverless applications using AWS.
• Experience designing and developing applications using microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with C#/.NET development.
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript development.
• Experience with Angular and/or React; experience with both is considered a strong asset.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Experience using state management technologies such as NGXS, NGRX, or Redux.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and modern software development practices.
• Experience developing large-scale, web-based applications or content management platforms.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an established development team.
