The Role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead and support creative design projects from concept development through final presentation. This part-time remote role offers the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, shape distinctive environments, and contribute to projects where design quality, functionality, and attention to detail are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design concepts based on project objectives, client needs, and spatial requirements.
• Develop mood boards, layouts, material concepts, and design presentations.
• Coordinate design development across multiple projects and priorities.
• Review drawings, specifications, finishes, furniture, and spatial details.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other creative professionals.
• Communicate design concepts and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide design guidance throughout implementation.
• Research emerging interior trends, materials, finishes, and sustainable design practices.
• Maintain design quality, consistency, and alignment with agreed project requirements.
• Support planning, budgeting, and project decisions where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of professional interior design experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of spatial planning, interior aesthetics, and design principles.
• Proficiency in developing professional design concepts and presentations.
• Knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and interior specifications.
• Familiarity with relevant design and visualization software.
• Strong visual, creative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver work within agreed timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
