£14–£15 per hour

Monday–Friday, approximately 9am–10am UK time
About us
Printed Originals is an online gallery specialising in original vintage posters from the worlds of film, travel, music, sport and culture.
We’re a small, friendly team with a genuine love of great design and interesting pieces. We source and sell posters from all over the world, from classic film and travel posters to music, sport and advertising, working with collectors, interiors customers and people simply looking for something special for their walls.
We sell to customers all around the world through our own website, as well as a number of major online marketplaces. We are looking for a reliable, friendly and organised person to help manage our day-to-day customer enquiries.
This is a small, ongoing remote role that would suit someone looking for a few regular hours each week alongside other work, freelance commitments, study or family responsibilities.
The role
The core requirement is approximately one hour each weekday morning, Monday to Friday.
Your main responsibility will be making sure customer enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
Typical tasks will include:
- Responding to customer emails
- Returning telephone calls and enquiries passed to us by our reception service
- Answering questions about orders, delivery, framing, poster condition and availability
- Liaising with our fulfilment team where necessary
- Following up with customers regarding orders or enquiries
- Handling straightforward customer-service issues
- Keeping customer correspondence organised
There will also be opportunities for additional paid hours when required, helping with areas such as:
- Updating products on our website
- Updating listings across online marketplaces
- Checking stock information across platforms
- Uploading or scheduling blog posts
- Basic Shopify administration
- General website and ecommerce housekeeping
- Helping with new stock when it is added to the website
You do not need to be an expert in vintage posters — we can teach you the product knowledge you need.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is:
- An excellent written communicator
- Confident and friendly on the telephone
- Reliable and available consistently Monday–Friday
- Comfortable working independently from home
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using email (Outlook) and online systems
- Able to learn new platforms quickly
- Professional when dealing with customers
Experience with customer service, ecommerce, Shopify, or similar online platforms would be useful, but is not essential.
Hours
Approximately:
Monday–Friday, 9am–10am UK time
5 guaranteed hours per week
Additional hours may be offered from time to time depending on workload, particularly when new stock is added or website/platform work is required.
Pay
£14–£15 per hour, depending on experience.
This is a permanent, ongoing part-time position rather than a temporary or freelance project.
Location
Fully remote.
Applicants can be based anywhere in the UK, provided they have a quiet space for phone calls and reliable internet connection and are consistently available during the agreed weekday morning hours.
