About The Role Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing web and backend applications supporting a credentialing and case management system for federal service agencies. You will utilize Java/Spring-based REST APIs, modern web technologies, and continuous integration practices to help deliver innovative, reliable customer engagement solutions. The position involves both front-end and back-end development tasks, working closely with an Agile team to ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical software. This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret security clearance, reflecting the sensitive nature of the projects involved.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen
• Active Final DoD Secret security clearance
• 2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications
• At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java
• At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment
• At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications utilizing Java to meet project requirements
• Create and maintain web and backend applications and services
• Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs to facilitate system interoperability
• Support and enhance credentialing and case management system capabilities
• Develop front-end functionalities using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
• Participate actively in Agile software development activities, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Work within a continuous integration environment to ensure rapid and reliable deployment of software
• Utilize Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git for coding, testing, and version control
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build customer engagement solutions tailored for federal agencies
