Role Description The Graphic Designer role at Carmah is a remote, contract position focused on creating visual assets that reflect the brand’s core values and aesthetic. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing graphics for apparel and accessories, developing logos and icons, and producing digital assets for online stores and marketing campaigns. The role involves collaborating with the brand team to translate concepts related to karma, charisma, and yin-yang into compelling visual designs. The Graphic Designer will prepare production-ready files, ensure brand consistency across all materials, and refine designs based on feedback and performance metrics. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple design tasks within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio showcasing apparel, accessory, or lifestyle brand work.
• Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including building and maintaining cohesive visual identities.
• Proficiency in Typography, with the ability to select and apply type that aligns with brand voice and readability standards.
• Advanced knowledge of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma or similar) and digital asset preparation for print and web.
• Understanding of apparel and product design workflows, including print techniques, file formats, and color management.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience designing for fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands is preferred.
• Relevant education or training in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
