Job Description
About the role
DiagoFit is building out its own fitness apparel line and is looking for someone who can help take products from idea to finished production.
This role combines apparel design with product development, sourcing and manufacturing.
We need someone who understands how to turn a clothing concept into a commercially viable product, not just create mockups.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Developing clothing concepts into production-ready products
- Creating or refining tech packs
- Fabric and material sourcing
- Identifying suitable manufacturers
- Communicating directly with factories and suppliers
- Managing samples and revisions
- Assessing garment quality and fit
- Understanding MOQ, production cost and lead times
- Helping negotiate manufacturing and sourcing options
- Managing the process from initial concept through final production
- Identifying production risks before they become expensive problems
What we’re looking for
We want someone with real apparel production experience.
Strong candidates will have:
- Experience developing clothing products from concept to production
- Existing manufacturer or supplier relationships
- Experience sourcing fabrics and materials
- Experience working directly with clothing factories
- Understanding of MOQ, sampling, costing and production timelines
- Experience reviewing and improving garment samples
- Strong knowledge of fit, fabrics, construction and garment quality
- Experience with activewear, gymwear, streetwear or premium apparel is a strong advantage
Important
This is not purely a graphic design position.
If your experience is mainly logos, mockups or visual design without manufacturing experience, this will not be the right fit.
We are specifically looking for someone who understands how clothing is actually produced and can help us move quickly from concept into manufacturing.
To apply
Please include:
- Brands or clothing products you have personally worked on
- Examples of garments you helped take into production
- Your exact role on those projects
- Manufacturers or suppliers you have worked with
- Your experience with tech packs, sampling and sourcing
- Portfolio / LinkedIn / website
- Current availability
- Compensation expectations
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
