Part-Time Medical Office Assistant — Remote / Virtual Sleep Clinic

We are seeking an organized, reliable, and tech-savvy medical assistant to support an Ontario-based virtual sleep medicine practice. This is a part-time, remote position.

A key focus of this role is preparing patient charts and coordinating the clinic day so the physician can move smoothly from one patient to the next with minimal interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient charts before appointments, ensuring relevant records and information are up to date.
• Coordinate patient readiness and clinic flow to support seamless transitions between virtual appointments.
• Help patients access virtual appointments.
• Assist with day-to-day clinic administration.
• Maintain organized records, task lists, and Google Sheets.
• Support efficient communication between patients and the clinic.

Ideal candidate

• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace, Zoom, electronic medical records, and virtual care technology, with the ability to quickly learn new software.
• Able to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage tasks efficiently.
• Professional and discreet when handling confidential patient information.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Must be available to provide real-time support during scheduled clinic hours.
