You Are UST is searching for a Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud technologies, modern application architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

The Opportunity

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js.
• Build and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, Step Functions, AWS Batch, ECS/Fargate, and API Gateway.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as AWS ECS/Fargate.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to build responsive user interfaces using React, or work with data engineering teams to develop data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Integrate backend services, databases, and third-party APIs to support business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security in cloud environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions and best practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and environment management.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical issues in a timely manner.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote - Canada Compensation Range $95,000-$119,000
